The studies will focus on various passages from the book of Acts including the establishment of the first food bank (Acts 6) and the death of the first Christian martyr (Acts 7). Following an exploration of the record of the first Gentile convert to Christianity (Acts 10) the studies will conclude with a consideration of the establishment of the first Christian community on the continent of Europe (Acts 16). With each study there will be questions for discussion and consideration aimed at exploring the relevance and challenge of these momentous events for Christian living and witness in the 21st century.
