On 31st October 2015 the last three remaining Christian Endeavour Holiday Centres closed their doors, seemingly for the last time. The death-knell of an era of provision of Christian holidays through these facilities for so many years seemed over…or was it? Although these Centres – The Pleasaunce in Overstrand, St Rhadagunds on the Isle of Wight and Beechwood Court in Conwy – were all closed, St Rhadagunds was the only centre that was actually sold. With the arrival of a new Board of Trustees, CEHC has decided to resurrect its core vision and to reopen Beechwood Court from Easter 2017, with the future of The Pleasaunce still under review.
We have been immensely encouraged in our ministry as the renewed CEHC goes from strength to strength, and your continued prayers are greatly appreciated as we move forward in the Lord’s work. Following a recent request on our website and facebook page for expressions of interest in the management of Beechwood Court, the Board of Trustees is currently considering those who replied. Helen Norman continues with us as Business Development Officer, based at Beechwood Court, and Andrew Gardener is our Accountant from his base on the Isle of Wight. Anne Powell also continues her commitment with CEHC, organising our coach trips and other Christian Interest Holidays within the UK. If you would like details of our holidays at Beechwood Court then you can contact Helen on 01492 593405 or through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our website is being developed and will contain more information very soon. Anne can be contacted on 0161 440 7204 or by email at email@example.com.
We look forward to welcoming you back on a CEHC holiday in 2017.
